Re: Fri/Sat TeaDay 9/2-3/11 Tea of the Month for August?
Took awhile to figure this one out, but the tea that made me say wow each time I had it in August was Tea Galleries Iron Warrior Monk.

I still have not figured out my tea of the month for August. So we will have this topic one more day.
Please share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Discuss the topic,
as a bonus, will this Tea of the Month became a new all time fave for you ...
why or why not. Please share.
See you on TeaDay. Bottoms up!

Re: Fri-Sun TeaDay 9/2-4/11 Tea of the Month, new all-time fave?
Fave teas for August. I could almost say any of the Shincha OTTI, they were in the beginning of the month. More recent, Miyabi 2010 from O-Cha has been very good. However this cannot be a top fave 5 thing, ongoing, since Miyabi has had to be reformulatated by another source ... the old version was a victim of Fukushima.
And began the TD with ... MIYABI 2010 with the Mrs. Brewed stronger, a bit of an accident. But it was better this way. 5 grams leaf to 4 ounces water. Outstanding.

I have a new favorite Oolong - Wuyi Shan Red Cape. Love the smokiness of this tea.
