Just off the record, because I am doing KLP I can now legally bring tea into the house (whether is others or for me). Last time I have to sneak in tea at night when wife is sleeping

I still have a few tongs and pots spread among the tea shops in town waiting for the home minister's visa to send them home.
Keep up the good work in the KLP.

We shouldn't expect retail price to be the same as bulk price.
This point is a very good one. I have seen vendors charge close to double when they've broken up beengs/tuos/bricks into samples....

I was in the tea shop and someone commented... Besides the price, all the Dayi in this KLP5 are Malaysian stored since the year it was produced. How big the difference in taste with the China stored? I don't really know, but there is hype going on that Malaysian stored is good.

What a good experienced I had today... My first time breaking so many beeng in a day.
Broken 13 beeng. To break a piece of beeng took me average 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
Easiest to break is Yiwu. Toughest to break is Spring of Menghai and the 5 other mountains.
Partially packed Package 01 (Raw). Will continue with Ripe tomorrow.
1 Slot left for Package 01

Ah, that would be hop_goblin's blog... he talks about doing all 5, but apparently only got around to publishing 2?
I guess he didn't notice that the first commenter on that second link had hidden links to lots of... um, "websites" in the comment? Oh well...

Hooray! My package arrived yesterday, so I got to start digging into the tea this weekend. I have already tried most of the teas in the first group, so I decided to try out the second group.
The box didn't look too dinged up, but I'd estimate that about 40% of the tea is loose and 10% of the tea is dust... I was a bit surprised. Unless if you had that much of a battle w/ breaking the beengs apart?
Thanks as always! I've gotten to start in with the first tea (the 'lowest' one you ranked) and it was much better than I was expecting. Looking forward to the rest...!

Glad you guys received it without problems.
Chen Yun & Hao Yun took me about 40 minutes each to break. A lot of small pieces and dust. I tried to distribute them evenly, but really look like that 2 piece shrank...
