Any Pu/Tea drinkers in Koblenz & Frankfurt?

I am going to Koblenz on 19 to 21 Oct for training.

Then extending my stay to sight see on 22 and 23 (flying evening) at Frankfurt.

If there are any TeaChatters from that area, let me know... need some advice on nice tourist spots or any tea shops to visit? We can even meet up. I can bring tea

I live > 250km away from these cities but I can give some suggestions.

For cultural visit, Koblenz has more to see than Frankfurt. It is a city surrounded by mountainous area and a large river. On the mountainous area, you'll find many ancient castles which you can access easily. The view from the top of these castles is stunning.
This region has its own long standing wine culture. You can grab one bottle of wine back to Malaysia
Currently they have a kind of fermenting wine called Federweiss in season, which is only available for a very short periode of time every year. But surely not in October.

Frankfurt is more towards metropolitan and administrative city with skyscrapers and of course many shopping streets. There're some famous restaurants there (which I haven't visited yet). The night view of Frankfurt am Main is nice.

Don't forget to bring enough clothes and a rain jacket with you, the weather can be quite harsh and unpredictable.

3rd morning here at Koblenz. Everywhere is walking distance from the hotel. Colleagues here are very friendly. Hospitality is very good. After work, they organized tour and went for nice food.

I came across some tea shop in the mall. 99% selling english tea. The shop smells more like flower shop than tea shop.

Yesterday went wine restaurant, and the people here drink wine like how we drink tea. Express like how we express when drinking tea. Look at bottle, Commenting on age, Smell, Sip, Comment like pro. I don't drink wine that much, if it is tea, I could probably contributed better and didn't get drunk at the end of the session

The restaurant was sure nice.

If yes, the complete course menu should be excellent. It is designed in such a way that at each stage of the course, the food and wine complements perfectly.
Six to ten different wine are usually served during the course.

I would compare beer in Germany to tea in China. You will find only english tea, flavoured fruit tea or some flowery tea.

The restaurant is a wine cellar underground. We didn't have so many variety of wine. I think 3 types the most. Our menu is custom made where our host has already preselect what food & wine we can choose. The price tag is removed so that we can order freely without worrying price.

How time flies, and I am preparing to check out soon from Cologne -> Speed train -> Frankfurt -> Bangkok (air port) -> KL. Long day ahead...
