I just bought a tin of the harney pomegranate oolong upon a recommendation from a friend. It is absolutely excellent.

Good to hear you've found another tasty tea!

Have you gotten the chance to try Adagio's flavored oolongs yet?

no i haven't had ANY adagio teas. up to this point i have been drinking republic of tea, twinings, harney and teavana. I just ordered the herbal sampler from adagio. Any recommendations on the oolongs?

New to the site but just got back from Taiwan and while I was there visited some tea plantations. Got some Li-Shan High Mountain Tea from their harvest this yr that was still available. It was expensive but worth every penny. Haven't tried any flavors and dunno of any places that sell it here. Hope this helps a little.

I could definitely point you in the oolong direction. Not the flavored ones though, because I don't drink flavored teas.

The non-flavored oolongs to try on adagio are:
  • Tie Guan Yin
    Pouchong
These two are light, and naturally sweet.

These are darker, and have more complexity to enjoy:
  • Wuyi Ensemble
    Oolong #40
The #40 is a Taiwanese oolong, which has a distinct flavor difference from other teas. The Wuyi ensemble is my favorite of these. Wuyi is a chinese oolong grown at high elevations in the rocky mountains, the plants drink nothing but pure mountain water. :D
