This ticks me off

by tjkoko » May 20th, '11, 13:07

I see two private messages that I composed. They're in my outbox. HOW DO I SEND THEM???????? :( :( :( :( :( :(

This website's software has some of the worst software I've ever used.

That confused me in the beginning too. They are actually sent, but they stay in the outbox until they are read by the recipient. Then you know that they have not yet been read, so you can still edit them if necessary.

I've seen a lot of software, and these forums are, at least in my opinion, pretty good, relative to a lot of the other software I've seen out there, both on the web and applications running directly on computers.

I would call this a highly unintuitive feature, yes. But nearly all complex software packages contain quite a few features like this.
