Hello all:
I just saw a post on TeaChat for an Yixing pomelo teapot and it prompted me to revisit my own which I purchased on eBay. I bought it because I thought it was cute and I happen to like sets; I own about four. As I was looking at the teapot, I noticed that there was a signature inside the lid. I don't read Mandarin (yet) or Cantonese and don't know what it says, nor the cover of the set. Any suggestions?
I think that I've gotten the size of the photos correct, but I'm no shutterbug!
Best,

The characters on the top of the set are 福 fú, meaning good luck or fortune. It is a common character to see on Chinese products, or just around China in general.
The signature is next to impossible to make out, though I think it might say 童美 tóng měi ?

Re: Need help on identifying a teapot signature
It's difficult to say due to the combination of the unfocused photo and poor lighting (sorry). The marks are simply too indistinct for me to read well

Yeah, the lighting stinks, but then so does my photography. The teapot top is so small that I had a hard time focusing as well. I'll wait for daylight and see if that helps.
