I have spent the last 2 months beginning my discovery of tea as well as this site. I have posted a couple of times already but decided I should say hi here.
I have always been a coffee drinker with very little tea consumed except when in the bush in Alaska ( tea is the traditional drink in the north woods because it goes alot further than the same amount of coffee).
I became interested in tea as an everyday drink when I learned of the health benefits of tea, particularly white tea, this last summer.
My favorites so far are White Peony and Snowbud-I also like some of the green as well some of the black-haven't tried any oolongs yet but I will.
I also am a fan of some of the herbals ie rooibos, peppermint, chamomile to name three. I don't know if you can buy it anywhere but a really good tea (infusion) is spruce needle. I drink it often in the bush, fresh spruce needles and boiling water and thats it.
Anyway, just thought I'd say howdy.
