Made in China. 5 ounces (0.25L) = 250ml and the larger of the 2 sizes that they seem to come in

a touch large .. its the right kind of plain tho, cheers

Hou De did have a set listed, gone now

5 ounces = 150 ml. 1 ounce equals 30 ml.

Do they have TeaGschwendner in the UK? They sell high quality competition tasting sets. They are branded, though.

Nothing but tea has them, I can't see any note stating the dimensions or capacity.

The capacity of competition tea tasting sets is standardized. If they're not stating anything specific, I would assume the set to be in accordance with the standard.

Yes, a paradox, we but we thought "Nothing But Tea and Tea Related Accessories and Paraphernalia including Professional Tasting Crockery Made to ISO Standard dot com" was a bit of a turn off for an email address - so we called it Nothing But Tea.

Professional (aka Competition) Tea Tasting Sets come in two sizes - small for liquoring a 140 ml sample from 2.8g tea, and standard for 285 ml from 5.6 grams of tea. Each set combines a mug, lid and bowl conforming to ISO Standard 3101-1980.
Hope this helps.

Good morning, Mr. Nigel

The Iso standard is ISO 3103 and not 3101.

Haha :) Yeah, "Nothing But Tea" is still a fitting name. We're just having fun

Teacraft Ltd offers both size sets, standard and small, but has a minimum order of six.

You are right Patrick - 3101 is a ripping but off-topic survey of "Wheels and castors -- Triangular top plates with three fixing holes"

Just got an email from Tea from Taiwan, and they have a tasting set that's currently on sale, with apparently an additional 20% off if you buy an oolong with it.

Just another option...
