This tea is true to the name.....This tea will wake you up. This tea is loaded with caffeine, a high energy tea.(served hot or cold ) This tea consist of high quality black teas, like Mambo, Assam Melody and Ceylon Sonata. This is a very rich and hearty tea, you don't need coffee to wake you up.
If you like real robust delicious black tea with no fruit and fancy flavors, then you will enjoy waking up to this tea. This tea is a great cup of hot tea but makes an incredible ice tea. ( Just old fashion ...good ole tea )

I want to add, if you want a stronger cup of tea add more loose leaf.
2 heaping teaspoons for a 8-10oz cup.
I also wanted to add that this tea in 2008 was in the top 4 teas for 3 months and it has over a 90 ranking.

When I made this blend over a year ago, I saw so many wake-up versions blends.
