Best Electric Kettle for Green Tea

by zakurie » Aug 24th, '12, 21:36

What is the current best electric kettle for green tea?

I have a varieTEA that is rusted out and it's time for something new. The Pico Pro looks nice, but I really don't like that it stays in until you remove the pot or it evaporates down to the bottom.

Really, rusted out? I got one right when they came out and it has never dried out once due to contant use. Iron from our well water adheres to the bottom, but I have never observed any rust.

Regardless of the precise settings, I bring water to boil for greens and use the water for preheating pot, cups, etc. But then it is about the right temp.

That kettle looks just LOVELY, and it would fix one of the few things I dislike about my Pino kettles--the shape of the spout doesn't make a clean pour easy.
