Tea set on craigslist?

by Randee1515 » Oct 7th, '12, 18:52

I just saw this:

and I am thinking about getting it for the cups, if nothing else. Do you think it is even worth it? It might be hard to tell without the chop stamp...

These are machine molded ones, not worth very much, and I don't believe they're actual yixing clay. Of course, if you just want tiny cups, might not be a bad choice, I guess.

Very typical low end tea set; doesn't look like good quality or good clay, and shouldn't be worth more than the asking price, even new.

Also, personally, I'd suggest porcelain cups, or at least cups with a porcelain lining inside.

Well, I've seen ones just like this one, and they look like machine made - machine marks, basically, etc
