Re: Li Shan
At least the number of different teas is much greater at teahome.com than at ebay.com/Teahome.Chip wrote:... and is the Teahome on ebay the "same" as teahome.com? Same owner? Same products? Or is the ebay product line modified for Westerners?
THANKS!
The prices are also quite different between
http://stores.ebay.com/Teahome-Premium-Formosa-Tea
and http://www.teahometw.com/pay.htm
For example:
300g Ali Shan
@ ebay: usd 31.5
@ teahome.com: 600 ntd = usd 20.5
300 g Shan Lin Xi
@ ebay: usd 45.5
@ teahome.com: 900 ntd = usd 31
150 g Li Shan
@ ebay: usd 49.5
@ teahome.com: 1000 ntd = usd 34.5

Re: Li Shan
Seeing as I'm drinking a cup of it right now, I have to recommend the spring li shan from mountain tea. http://www.mountaintea.com/collections/ ... han-spring
No idea if it's as good as other offerings from teahome, tea trekker, etc., but it's tasty enough for me!

Re: Li Shan
teahome is good vendor, been buying from him since 2004. Have to say though quality is drastically inconsistent.

Re: Li Shan
If you're getting stuff that teahome themselves produce, you've definitely got weather to contend with there. It's less of an issue when you're dealing with vendors who source from a large number of different farms to maintain consistency.
Re: Li Shan
Weather is just one variable. The expertise of the tea master at the farm is also very important. 2 farms next to each other will not necessarily produce the same result.SilentChaos wrote:If you're getting stuff that teahome themselves produce, you've definitely got weather to contend with there.
