What herbal tea are you drinking today?

Healthy herbs, rooibos, honeybush, decaf tea, and yerba mate.

Besides my usual several cups of green, I enjoy ginseng tea. There's a nice crispness to it and I mix in a small slice of ginger!

I WAS going to drink jujube tea... until I found worm eggs and a live worm in them!

The shop I bought it from was very apologetic and is giving me a refund. They bought one batch from a different supplier since their usual supplier was out of stock.

I'm most surprised about how the infested fruits could bypass the ultra-strict Australian customs!

I have dried lemongrass for when I'm sick. I make it with a silk tea bag dark as possible. Perfect for a sore throat.

I've got a homemade brew of ginger (1/4 cup ground ginger in a quart of water, boiled for 15 min) with a bag of peppermint steeped in the mug.

The ginger is like a dragon punch in the throat, but that's how momma likes it. ;)

Today, a rare bagged tea--a lovely peppermint/chamomile/rose hip blend from Peet's called Xiao's blend. No caffeine, but a nice bit of wakeup zing from the mint.

Lately its just been Rooibos and a 'relax' tea that comes in bags that is a blend of Chamomile, Fennel and Marshmallow Root I believe!

Usually I go between Sweet Fennel, Peppermint and Chamomile :)

Although I'm not a great tisane fan, I have recently started to drink some in the evenings to try and cut back on caffeine before bedtime.
Tonight was a chamomile day. (From a teabag. )
I actually placed an order for some tisanes from Adagio last week (chamomile and rooibos) , exciting to see what they bring.

I just returned from a 2 week trip during which I drank nothing but chamomile tea. I love my greens and oolongs, but my tummy needed a break. The Adagio chamomile is a very high quality. I bought a bag of the loose, to prepare at home, and a package of teabags, for my trip. The tea bags are 3-D and you can see that the chamomile are the same fresh dried flowers that is in the loose tea.

I recently began drinking peppermint tea at night and have been ordering from Steven Smith Teamaker in Portland. Their peppermint is from Oregon, which they claim produces the best peppermint anywhere. That I don't know, but it sure seems incredibly fresh and flavorful to me.

Having some Yerba Mate currently, 1-2 Tablespoons for 300mL of water, 80 degree water for 5 minutes uncovered jug, then steeped the same way a second time and added to the original liquor, killed the bitterness usually found in the first brew and made it a delight to drink!

Perfect for an alert study session :)

Feeling snuffly and sorry for myself, and after a bit of cool-brewed Jin Guan Yin (lovely green oolong from Norbu) for the road, I prepped some lemon/ginger/honey tea with a few random bits from the spice & herb cupboard--star anise, cassia buds, linden leaf, and gamro (hydrangea) leaf. Mmmmmm. Feeling happier already, if not less snuffly.

A custom blend from Adagio. Half white tea, half a fruit blend (apples, oranges, and berries). In a handmade teacup I just got in the mail from etsy for good measure.

Not sure if this counts, but I'm currently enjoying some honeybush tea. In my head it's similar to rooibos, and very soothing/calming. :)

Bael, lavender and chamomile. Recently I've been drinking more herbal tea than tea!
