Has anyone ever bought from GoKo Tea?
http: //www . gokotea . com/ (I'm a good girl, it hasn't been 30 days yet)
Their website is very informative and professional, and their teas seem just awesome. I'd love to try their top Gyokuro ($85 for 20g) but I think my husband is going to protest, hihihi

I've seen them before. That is some expensive packaging.
A lot of their tea looks really stemmy. Also, they seem to like increasing the color saturation in their photos.

Yes, fancy packaging for only 20 grams of sencha with a crazy price tag.
I would much rather buy more tea than packaging ... but I guess they have a different target.
Even as gifts, they do not make much sense really ...

OK, I read their story, artisan teas and all that ... but still, come on. They could better support these so called artisan producers and get the teas into the hands of Japanese tea geeks at a significantly lower price point.
However, if someone wants to gift me some of this green gold, I will be happy to forward my mailing address to you.

Thanks Chip
So... GoKo tea seems to be snob-tea. I guess I'll ignore them for now and keep them bookmarked for when an opportunity arises
