It is my turn to say hello to everyone here. I am a tea fanatic in my own happy way. My previous college roommates have laughed at my drawers full of teas, so it is awesome to find a crowd of people who are as equally obsessive.
Given the other introductions read on here, I will start with my tea preferences. I enjoy lots of green teas. Currently, I ordered a half dozen little samples at Adagio to find some good ones. I have tried the apricot green, the cherry green, the casa-blanca twist, the sencha overture, the gyokuro, and the green anji so far. I like all of them except for the cherry green. I was hoping it would be like the cherry rose sencha that I had purchased else where, but sadly, it was a bit too sweet. On the other hand, I absolutely adore the casa-blanca twist. Second to my love of green teas is a nice peppermint tea with just a touch of honey. If anyone has any suggestions on which teas to try next, that would be wonderful. I am primarily looking for a good green, every day tea, something that is enjoyable, but not as complex or expensive as the gyokuro.

I am a gree tea kinda guy. You are looking for a good everyday green, try Dragon Well...a very approachable and eminently enjoyable green tea.

Since you seem to appreciate a green with a bit of something extra, I give a nod to citron green.
I also think the green anji and green pekoe teas are fine "every day" teas.
And although it appears to be priced in the same range as the gyokuru, I think sencha premier is super and worth a sample. I have no trouble turning each cup of the stuff into 3 or 4 cups, which scales the price per cup down significantly.
