Hello, and Daughters Tea?

I have been lurking for a few months now and thought I would introduce myself and ask a question. I am only a year into my journey with Puerh and am totally hooked. I am trying samples left and right and loving the experience. I enjoy the Raw Pu so much more. The variety and complexity of sheng is a joy. I have picked up a few cakes, Tuos and bricks along the way. I can admit, I enjoy a 2010 Bulang and other young teas on a regular basis. I am buying the older cakes I find I enjoy along the way and putting them away, but I am more into enjoying what I have today vs collecting. You never know where your path will lead or how much time we have to enjoy it.

On to the question.... I did a search on "Daughters Tea" but came up empty. Does anyone have anything to share on their experiences with it? From my understanding, it uses first rate Menghai Sheng? It's on my list to try asap.

I havent seen anyone posting about this cake so i'm curious why your so interested in it? I haven't tried it but i suspect there are many better options for young tea for $90.

I would try samples first on a more expensive cake I have no experience with.
I am just expanding my sheng experiences, and haven't found any info on this particular cake.

How so? It looks rather boring and unremarkable to me. Have you tried 7542, 7532 or 8582 yet? If you haven't yet than i suggest sampling some since thats what Dayi is known for. Their much older cakes are tasty but not cheap but than again their new teas are rather expensive for what they are.

I haven't tried this cake yet but to me this one looks much nicer than that Daughters Tea and it's only $9/cake more.

The Yu Run correctly translates as "Jade luster"
