when i was doing my phd i polished off a few thousand nespresso capsules... 3-4 espressos a day was the norm
not too sure whether it did help in memory though.. but it gave me the awake-ness to do experiments

Thanks vor the link.. though I must say, tea works much better for me than coffee, because the latter gives me energy but also makes me nervous and unfocused, whereas the awake-calmness of tea really helps a lot in working focussed and effectively for a longer period of time.
Also, its just nice to have the teapot with some oolong or pu ready and do another infusion every half an hour or so.. when its anyways time to do a little break.. a perfect match!

Defintiely miig. Tea is my preferred caffeine vector.
On the other hand, Kyarazen's 'ginseng spiked' espresso sounds enticing too haha!
