ClarG, it sounds to me like you are buying loose puerh and mini tuos from western companies. If I were you I would look at the puerh vendor thread and order some samples from the recommended vendors. I would also invest in a Gaiwan, fair pitcher, and small tea cups and start trying gongfu brewing. When I first started drinking puerh, these two things were very helpful in increasing my enjoyment and appreciation of puerh.
