How many cups of pu-erh do you drink?

Are they full-size tuo, or mini (single-serving)? Usually the mini-tuo are not that great quality.

Mini-tuo's are not only not great quality, they are usually just about the lowest you can get. And can you imagine brewing an entire 100 or 250g tuo that would be impressive.

ClarG, it sounds to me like you are buying loose puerh and mini tuos from western companies. If I were you I would look at the puerh vendor thread and order some samples from the recommended vendors. I would also invest in a Gaiwan, fair pitcher, and small tea cups and start trying gongfu brewing. When I first started drinking puerh, these two things were very helpful in increasing my enjoyment and appreciation of puerh.

I totally agree!
It may seem a bit much of a fuzz for now, but I promise, you won't regret it. I used to drink Single Malts as a hobby,and since I got into high quality tea, I virtually abandoned that! The world of good teas is at least as complex, and unlike whiskey, Its no problem to drink tea every day
