Mystery Tea 214

by skywarrior » Feb 1st, '08, 15:57

Crud. I may have found a green I like. But I suspect it may be more of an oolong, which gets me off the hook. It's a Jasmine, so it has a floral flavor to it. Had some very tight green-gray pearls that makes me think it's Dragon Pearl.

Anyway, I got several samples from www.xiuxiantea.com but lost the sheet telling me what they were. So, all I have are numbers. So, this is Mystery Tea 214.

It looks like I could probably have a second or third steep on the tea (not all the pearls completely opened. I have an email into the vendor to get the list.

I am sure it is one of their levels of Dragon Pearl Jasmine. If it is good, you should get 3-5 steeps out of it. Lesser grades have less depth and still should get you to 3.

The higher grades are scented for more nights supposedly, thus more depth and more jasmine scent to the tea.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
