Do you weigh your tea purchase on receipt? If you do and you get less than what you paid for what do you consider an acceptable difference?

I've never weighed my tea (sencha) but would be fine with up to 5g missing.

I guess it counts as weighing my tea if I'm present when it gets weighed and packaged. I usually help a little too if i don't get distracted tasting. :lol:

do you usually calibrate your weighing scale regularly? some times a bit of imbalance or tilt that develops over the years will result in non-linearity in weighing.

I think it's also important to keep in mind that tea shops (at least in NYC where I am) are required to use scales that meet a certain standard. These are a different type than most people would have at home so your measurements may not be exactly the same as what you paid for anyway :)
