Hi all,
does anyone knows any good tea store where I could find japanese tea in Taiwan please ?
Re: Japanese Tea in Taiwan
I would suggest trying some of the Japanese department stores in Taipei or other large cities (stores like Sogo, Mitsukoshi, etc.). Another place to try is Wistaria teahouse - while I don't think that they sell any Japanese tea the owner is very knowledgeable and probably knows where to buy Japanese tea in Taiwan. You could also ask at a Japanese restaurant - there are many of these in Taiwan.

Thanks for you answers.
I don't wish to buy online, thanks anyway for the address, could be useful another time
The first places I thought of were Sogo and Mitsukoshi, I think it can be a correct option. Though, I more especially seeking a specialized tea shop, maybe like Wistaria house ? I will check that
The idea of asking around japanese restaurant is very good, I note that down
By the way, maybe you know if 玉露 is the correct spelling for Gyokuro ?

Yes I believe those are the correct characters for gyokuro in Japanese. I guess they probably use the same characters in Chinese. Check out Wikipedia for more info on the characters for gyokuro, sencha, etc.

I mentioned Japanese restaurants since that is the only place in Taiwan that I have had Japanese tea.
