Re: Pumidor Cabinet
It's less about just being annoyed by the repetitive threads, and more that the OP would actually learn a lot more from the past threads. Many very experienced puerh drinkers weighed in that no longer post, and lengthy discussions took place. I highly doubt this thread will garnish that much attention or information. I know when I joined teachat about a year and a half ago home storage was a huge topic and people like TIM, cloud, apache, marshaln were all still active in those topics. If he really wants to learn those are by far the best people to learn from. However, if he wants this thread to continue so be it

... there is such a thing as tact and being a bit sensitive to others who may not have been around for earlier discussions. Referring to such a discussion as this as "pointless" and repeatedly interrupting the ensuing discussion is rather ... boorish ... don't you think?.
And maybe something new will come out of newer discussions on the same topic.

Re: Pumidor Cabinet
I apologize for my tactlessness, but it seems to me that a lot of very basic questions that have been answered many times before are being rekindled by newer users. I don't have a problem with asking questions, but I feel like the board would elicit more useful discussion if new users would search to discover the answers to questions that have already been discussed and only create new threads for new questions, not fully discussed questions, or questions that have not been discussed in a considerable amount of time. However, I was probably harsher than I needed to be, especially considering I summoned the almighty chip
so I'll shut up now. Just a few things to consider

Re: Pumidor Cabinet
On the contrary! Search is great...I use it all the time. But weeding through backlogs of threads that pop up in the search can be tedious, and time consuming. It can become the proverbial needle in a hay stack if the subject is broad.
Additionally, new members since a post was made, might have good insights and answers. Honestly, if someone feels a subject well covered
its on you not to read the thread.

Re: Pumidor Cabinet
if you want to go the fridge route, look at wine cooling fridges! (or any thermoelectric fridge), add a small humidor unit and with some monitoring and slight mods if needed you have an awesome pumidor!
