So I've been a member for awhile here, but haven't really posted much. I'm more of a lurker to be honest. But months ago I bought this lot of teapots off Ebay to add to my teapot collection. The other forum I lurk at said I shouldn't try to steep anything in them, but didn't really help with any other info, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
Sorry in advance for all the pictures. I figured more would be better, but maybe I've gone overboard?
They looked kinda like yixing pots in the listing (or at least 3 of them did), but I didn't buy them on the expectation of them being actual yixing. I just liked how they looked. The three have stamps on them. The last one doesn't but, I'm pretty sure it's the least 'real' of all of them. The lids of all of them fit pretty securely. I can't really rattle them about when they're on.
Hopefully the pictures I took are clear enough. If there's something that someone wants a better picture of, just let me know. Also, I'm sorry if any of the stamps are sideways/upside down. I tried my best to turn them upright. >>;
Spider Pot - I call it this because it's got a spider inside the lid. (Yeah, not very original.) I was hoping it was crab or something from what I saw in the original pictures, but I realized it was a spider. I know it's just clay, but I just about dropped the lid. XD

- http://tinyurl.com/SpiderPot7 (Inside bottom - that little off-color square is where the mark is on the bottom)
Teapot Pot
- http://tinyurl.com/TeapotPot1 (It's kinda more reddish than this, though still dark brown)
- http://tinyurl.com/TeapotPot2 (Inside of lid)
- http://tinyurl.com/TeapotPot3 (Bottom of pot)
- http://tinyurl.com/TeapotPot4 (Inside spout - I know this is kinda chewed up looking. There's also bits of clay clogging the rest of the holes.)
- http://tinyurl.com/TeapotPot5 (Inside bottom - That green is actually just fluff that I didn't work loose.)

Marbled Pot
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot1 (Very close to actual color)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot4 (Inside of lid)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot5 (Bottom of pot)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot6 (Inside spout)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot7 (Inside bottom - This one has all this reddish powdery grit on the bottom/edges/kinda on the sides)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot8 (Better pic of powder)
- http://tinyurl.com/MarbledPot9 (Spout - This was the only one which had a crooked spout.)
Bamboo Pot - This is the one I'm pretty certain is just a neat looking pot. But I figured it didn't hurt to add.

Also one other pot to add. I actually found this at a Saver's near me. Another one that I don't care if it's real or not since I just thought it was adorable. But any info would be a bonus.
This thing is smaller than my hand. So cute! Unfortunately the little strainer inside had either broken off when it was donated (thankfully they didn't toss it if so) or someone poked it and it broke, so that was rattling around inside. But the lid fits really well and it has a pretty flower design on one side and some writing on the other. There's a stamp on the bottom and two on the inside of the lid, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, right?
If anyone has any recommendations on if I should fix the strainer, with what, or just leave it, I'd appreciate it. I don't think I'll actually use this one either since it's just so darn tiny and I'm worried about things like getting poisoned and stuff. Lol. And what the writing on the one side says would be awesome. Just so I know it doesn't say something like 'May your dog ever have fleas' or something. XD

I wouldn't use any of them except maybe the last pot. Forget about the strainer, you don't need it.
To elaborate a little, I'm pretty sure none of the ebay lot are yixing pots, and none of them look safe for actual brewing. The last pot with a broken filter could possibly be an yixing pot, its hard to be sure.

only the last pot seems ok which is like a more recent material/make
