I'm brewing tea in a clay teapot, mainly Taiwanese tea (Ali / Li Shan),
but have a problem which I don't know how to resolve

Few week ago, I had to fly urgently and forgot to empty the teapot from the morning tea leaves. When I returned home after a week or so, I opened to teapot, and realized that I forgot the leaves and everything was full of mold and smelly

I cleaned everything and even filled my teapot (several times) with boiling water.
Do you think it is safe to use the teapot again?
will it affect the taste?
