Hey everyone,
I'm a longtime lurker on the site, so I figured I might as well join in! I currently live in Portland, Oregon, where I'm pursuing my undergrad degree in music, but was introduced to the world of tea at a wonderful teahouse in Madison, Wisconsin back in high school.
I'm a particular fan of Japanese teas, but, in the end, all tea is pretty great!
I'm always interested in any beautiful teaware or unusual teas anyone might come across.
I'm also very interested in the prospect of working on a tea farm some day. I've spent a lot of time doing outdoor work and working with plants back in Wisco, so if anyone knows of any opportuni-teas (sorry), please let me know!
I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome!
If you like to see beautiful teaware, check out some of the artists on the boards. They all do really really nice work!

Welcome to the forum gavinm! Hope to see you around the forum and more about your Japanese tea journey!

I'd say welcome, but I'm newer than you. XD I don't know about Japanese tea, but have you checked out the Tao of Tea's teahouse on Belmont? I'm absolutely in love with the atmosphere there!
