So, is there going to be a coherent way we are going to be posting notes or is it just going to be "whatever we want to taste thing"? Mill Gracias! Sal!
Don't always believe what you think!

... nothing required, no rules, any short notes will be enjoyed by all, complete formal posts (like Scruff's) are gorgeous and much appreciated, but if it's like last month, most members will not post any opinion. I guess in an ideal world I would like to see each taster, each month, post a sentence or two summary of their evaluation/experience, but everyone is also busy. Ultimately, I think it is more important that we develop a wide experience of tea in common than that we see written notes every month. Of course some notes might help develop the group, but experience is more important.
Examples of what I would consider short notes:
Nobody actually wrote:I enjoyed XYZ Tea quite a bit.
Well, I gave it a try and I can't see the point to XYZ Tea.
XYZ Tea was an interesting experience, but I'll stick with my ABC Tea.
I noticed an unusual taste of almonds in XYZ.
This was interesting enough that I've ordered some other teas similar to XYZ Tea

In a 12 Oz dragon cup -- 5 minutes. Did a rinse and then brewed it at oolong temps.Salsero wrote:Sorry, Sky. It's just like all the other expensive drugs: the first one is free! Mwwaahaha. How did you finally brew it?skywarrior wrote:Dan Cong -- Yu Lan Xiang
Damn you, Sal. I really like this tea.
Very tasty on the first infusion. Second infusion not so great, but still pretty good.

I know you felt terrible about that, but I don't think the tea suffered that much. After all it is a pretty broken tea to begin with. I think the tea arrived mostly in usable conditions. Especially considering we got it free!!Space Samurai wrote:Sal, I think the lack of feed back was my fault.
I for one am very happy and grateful to have had the chance taste it.
As for posting, most of our members are busy people and most people get nervous (I think) about having to write something. Needless to say, we have a number of very gifted writers among us (including yourself), but the majority of people are not very comfortable writing.
