I have only used mine once. Its a bit wide for my small hands. I also dont intend to use it full gong fu style. Rather I use half the water for western prep. Its a nice size for me used that way but too big for gong fu for 1.
It comes with a mesh strainer that is useless for most tea. But the shape seems to brew oolongs sweetly without the. mesh of course.
But gee..it was 10 bucks so I cant complain.
Re: Beginner gaiwan
Very nice. I brewed up some Organic High Mountian Oolong in mine last night after dinner and it may be my new favorite way to brew! The taste and richness of using a gaiwan with the filter of a nice pot. I love it!Misou wrote:I have only used mine once. Its a bit wide for my small hands.
