Dayi 0712, 0752 (2007)

What do you think about the Dayi 0712 and 0752? Did you try them? Are they strong teas potentially good for aging like the 7532, 7542 or are they new oolong pu-erh type cakes?

Thanks!

hi. i have 0712 and 0772 (701). i can say both of these tea are rather weak and lack depth. they are also still rather astringent. 0712 has stronger sweet after taste. both these tea exhaust after 6-7 brews on a standard 7-8g/110ml; which is rather nice if i wanted a quick fix.

if you are trying to familiarize yourself with "menghai taste/fragrant" from 2003-2011/2, then it's best used that way.

I tried the 0712 701 for the first time today. Yuck, in a word. It has a strongly unpleasant vegetal taste and no chaqi. I just hope the local humidity can do something for it.
