Let's all relax and have some tea.

Getting back to your post topic, puerhshop has some decent stuff, but as others said, with that sort of shipping, I'd look elsewhere. (I know for us in the US, if it gets over $9, then $9 flat rate shipping kicks in if I remember correctly.)

There are good online vendors from various parts of the world. One handy feature on these forums is the vendor list for each type of tea. If you look near the top of each specific tea section, you'll find a 'stickied' topic with vendors that have been suggested/recommended by our online community (with certain rules in place for doing so.) The discussions for each vendor might give you an idea whether or not it is somewhere you'd like to explore. (There is a discussion for puerhshop there as well.)

That said, there are plenty of other good vendors around that haven't made it on those lists as well. In a matter of a few weeks reading TeaChat, I've found several more good puerh and oolong vendors that some folks like (myself included) that aren't on those lists.

Happy shopping!

I believe Puerhshop has flat rate shipping for a little under $10 but that may be US only, that is about what I paid recently anyway.

I use Puerh Shop regularly and have no complaints. There are gems to be found there but you have to look. My current favorite cake is a Guoyan 2006 Youle I found on the site. It has an almost narcotic chi. (I bought a tong and now there is only samples of this cake left.) Be sure to read up on the posts regarding the aged cakes. I have ordered a 1998 cake and was happy with what I received. Was it genuine? I am not expereienced enough to say, but it was an enjoyable tea experience. Be aware that I am relatively new to Puerh, having only drank it daily for alittle over a year. It's worth the look IMHO. Many reasonable priced samples are available so have fun with it. Shipping to Ca. was only $9.oo
