My Den's Tea came with brewing instructions like 45 seconds for the kukicha and 30 seconds for the genmai cha. I was tired of using the timer on the microwave and then I found this digital timer on Harney's web site:

The reviews on Amazon were positive, and Harneys' was less expensive. I figured if I was paying for shipping I might as well get some tea also. Now I have to stop buying tea for a while and use up what I have in the house before it goes stale (after I replenish my kukicha supply).

Jeez, H&S is very erractic in pricing. I had that timer a while ago, but left it somewhere. I always liked to take to cook outs and TeaOuts because I could just put it around my neck. I might get it.
Their cheap looking ceramic simple white kyusu set is 69 bucks. That should be around 30-35 tops. cheap looking kyusu set

I have that same Polder timer...2 of them. SO handy to put it around my neck and go do something else (especially handy at work), but when it goes off, I know the tea's ready (or it's time to move on to another task, etc.). The numbered keypad makes it faster to set than tap, tap, tap, tap, tap of other timers.
Found mine at Amazon, which cost a couple dollars more Harney&Son, but free shipping since I got 2 of them.
