Can you tell from the inside if it is slipcast? I have not seen a raised letter design like that before, it looks like it would be easier to cast?

I really looks like decoration to me. Possibly artificially aged which is what concerns me.

How do I recognise if it's slipcast?
Also, as previously said I'm totally new to this, bit isn't it possible for this teapot to be an antique piece, maybe with peculiar style? Wouldn't that explain these strange features? Again, this probably is completely wrong, just asking :|

There is no chance, sorry. In the best case it could be a few decades old, maybe 80s but I even doubt that. It's a modern piece for tourists. If you compare yours to the following picture you can see the difference between teapots made for decoration/tourists and a well decorated and skillfully made one.
