"Resetting" Kyusu for different Sencha sellers

I have a black Kyusu made by Maekawa Junzo, I've been brewing Sencha from Enjoyingtea.com for about 3 months or so.

I recently ordered some Sencha from Mountainroseherbs.com to see if it taste better, seeing as it's all natural and from Japan I imagine it would be. (I assumed the Enjoying Tea one is from China)

My question is if this if the mountain rose one is better would I need to "Reset" my teapot? And how do you go about doing that?

Nope, all sencha goes in the same pot.

Even if both Senchas taste different?

Yeah. Just avoid anything roasted in there and you'll be good to go.

... you can always rinse with hot water a few times. Not necessarily necessary.

Oh and I can't comment on the teas from that website but be sure to try o-cha and tres du japon

If you wan't to try tea from mountain rose I would highly suggest the Ancient Forest tea. It's a little robust but it's by far the most refreshing tea I've tasted so far.

Does look good. I only drink Indian and Japanese teas though.

Yeah, Yunnan greens tend to be robust. I am a little skeptical though, 500-2700 year old wild tea trees and only 32.50 USD per pound? But I do not follow Yunnan greens, so maybe that is in line.

I had the same thought, they make it sound like the forest is some protected zone but it's cheaper then the Sencha they sell. But whether or it's from a 2,700 year old forest or not it's still really good tea.
