gunpowder/sencha mix?

Anyone here mix gunpowder in with their sencha? I usually just drink matcha, but when I need a break I find the fusion of the two very relaxing.

Really? Sorry, I am not the least bit inclined to try it ... my kyusu would revolt!

My brain tells me ick but I haven't tried it. I do love each separately, gunpowder with lots of honey. Sencha out of a Kyushu straight.

I haven't tried it, mostly because Chinese and Japanese teas usually require slightly different brewing parameters. I don't think I'd be able to find a middle ground that makes them both taste their best.
