Greetings from London

by Hunster » May 12th, '15, 06:34

Hi All,

Been reading a load of entries on this site for a while now, so thought I'd say hello...

I am an avid tea drinker living in London, UK. I need a daily brew - with the choice of tea depending on mood/weather - and being in London, we have plenty of weather conditions to help chose a nice fitting tea :)

Currently I am enjoying a few different teas, but mainly Sencha, Gyokuro, Dung Ding, Da Hong Pao and a bowl of Matcha most mornings to get me through the start of the day...

Also been slowly updating my tea-ware recently, and love Hagi Yaki pieces!

I find tea to be a relaxing and meditative part of my day, and tend to be an evening brewer, despite being a little sensitive to caffeine... but it helps calm the mind/body after a long day...

Anyway, I'll carry on reading any interesting articles and if there are any London tea nuts on here, feel free to get in touch.

Cheers.

Hi Rui,

Nope, i ordered it from Japan. I actually order all my tea from Japan and China... the imported stuff in the UK is not very good in general.

The Japanese greens I tend to buy from Hibiki... very good quality, although not the cheapest...

Thank you very much as I am coming to the end of the Sencha I have been drinking.

If you haven't tried it, the Sencha Premium (100g) from hibiki is particularly good! Very enjoyable...
