In a month I will be working in a new place in Ireland where I know hot water is available. Unfortunately I also know that this water is extremely hot (off the boil really).
Tea is also available but in awful tea bags so I was thinking of bringing my own tea.
I am open to suggestions on what would be the best choice of tea, that I would like to be good enough but not extremely expensive - something to make on the run.
I am also thinking if I should move to the black/red tea side because of the hot water, or if there is a good green tea that endures such temperatures.
Have a nice day everyone

Lots of options here: water just off the boil is the next best thing to your own kettle at your desk. You can brew any tea you like. All you need is an extra cup or better yet little pitcher for pouring neatness, and patience or a thermometer.
Pour some very hot water into your brewing vessel directly for oolongs or puerhs or black/red teas, or pour into your pitcher and let it cool briefly for greens or white teas. If you're too pressed for time when near the hot water dispenser to let the water cool, you can put a little cool water in the pitcher first, add the right amount of hot water to get the temperature about right (practice plus thermometer makes perfect doing this), and then pour it into your brewing vessel. Easy-peasy, for your tea of choice.

Well yes it sounds quite easy
Of course I can do as you say, and probably I will. I was hoping to find suggestions for a tea that I could brew directly with off-the boil water, but I don't know if there actually is one!

These:

I particularly like traditional roasted oolongs and shu puerhs for on-the-go brewing and drinking at work. They're forgiving of slight variations in brewing temps and times.

Missed that
I don't have any experience with puerh, I only tried green teas for now so maybe oolong is a better choice for me! I never tried a roasted oolong though, could be interesting. I had some ligthly oxidized oolong before, I imagine it would be quite different?
