Chamomile tea sometimes.
More usually Grannys old remedy.
Whiskey, honey and lemon juice, top off the glass with hot water.
Re: What tea do you drink when you are sick?
Nah, no tea for me when I am sick. Yup, ginger boiled in raw sugar molasses preferred

If I have a headache, I tend towards yancha, not sure why though.
If it's a cold..Sencha. It clears me up better than other kinds of tea, but I've no idea why that is.
If my stomach hurts, I grind up fresh ginger root, brew it up and drink it. It works better than taking pepto-bismol, IMO.

I once had a friend who swore by this, said it was without a doubt the best home remedy that doesn't work.Rui wrote:Me too!kiwi303 wrote:Whiskey, honey and lemon juice, top off the glass with hot water.

For me, being sick is a good opportunity to reduce my tea intake so that I can feel more qi from it when I'm healthy again. When I feel I'm coming down with something I take a homemade Ganoderma tincture, well more than usual.
