It is possible mountainteagardent changed their rule for purchases.

When you login onto their website, are you able to get create an account and put items into your shopping cart?

i actually did not try creating an account, but i was able to add items to the cart. the only thing i did see on the site is a $100 minimum order, but i satisfied that.

i decided to start the ordering process by just emailing them directly, since i thought that would be easiest.

however, according to the message they just sent me, supposedly ordering through their website that way is not supposed to work unless they have your business with tax info on file.

maybe the guy i'm talking to is new, or maybe they changed their policy, or maybe you just got lucky with your order and it was an oversight..
he said he checked with his supervisors, and that's the final decision.

luckily i can order as a food ingredients company.

Thats really too bad. I remember communicating with at least two people when our order was placed earlier this summer.

It is possible they have added some new rules.

i guess they want to stop people from doing this lol.
makes sense to try to move as much at retail as possible. pretty reasonable.

anyway, i complied with their requests, so hopefully the wholesale pricing will come through.
