Hi! My name is Aredhel! I worked in a teashop for years but I' ve to say that, unfortunately, the level of teas here in Italy is sadly low...
I love japanese and chinese green teas and recently I've grown interested in oolongs!
I'm soooo sorry for my english, please feel free to correct me at any time!

Re: Hello from Italy
Aredhel, thanks for your answer,
I like Anji Baicha and Long Jing green teas too, but also I love Taiping Houkui and Meng Ding Gan Lu green tea. If you never tried they, I would like to recommend you to do that

I love Taiping Houkui! What's your brewing method?
I never try Meng Ding Gan Lu but I've just add it on my tea-wishlist!!

Re: Hello from Italy
This is a bit OT, but do you follow the aictea facebook group and the tazzefumanti.it forum? I am wondering whether we can help to spread tea culture in Italy, for instance by making more information available in Italian.
Re: Hello from Italy
Actually no, good news however. I guess I'll join the Italian forum then
in my experience there isn't a great deal of information available about tea in Italian, with a few exceptions (one is the book by Tollini on Chanoyu & tea culture). Seems like the tea fad hasn't reached Italy yet...

Re: Hello from Italy
Yes, there are several people interested but there is very little information available. I think we can try to help a bit
I posted some very introductory gongfu brewing parameters in Italian for people who want try it at home and don't have the opportunity to see a friend doing it.
