Seto ware Chawan, Meiji period.
Size: 227,5 grams, H. 7,2 cm, D. 11 cm.
Info: Thin walled but well proportioned Chawan, easy to use, handle and clean. The iron glaze makes the matcha extremely delicious; suggested for usucha.

Iga ware Chawan, anagama fired for 10 days, 2014.
Size: 452 grams, H. 8,5 cm, D. 10 cm.
Info: Thick walled, well proportioned with great amount of ash glaze all over the Chawan's surface. Rustic appearance, scratches and rough surfaces were a precise aesthetic ideal of the potter; the crack at the bottom was unplanned but welcomed (the Chawan doesn't leak). Suggested for advanced users, suggested for usucha during colder seasons. Originally unboxed, for a more zen arrangement, I can add one for free if requested by the buyer.

Raku Chawan, Meiji period.
Size: 398,8 grams, H. 8,5 cm, D. 10,5 cm.
Well used raku Chawan with a crazed light grey glaze, typology hardly saw nowadays. Masterfully shaped by hands, a real pleasure to use and handle. This Chawan remained for a long time inside his tomobako, so it is a bit smelly (just a bit!). It should be stored for a few weeks outside his tomobako and possibly used. Tomobako included. Suggested for koicha.
