Differences between Ceylon teas?
I've only had the Ceylon black teas like Kenilworth, and Nuwara Eliya/lover's leap, but I've seen other Ceylon teas for sale from different sections/estates of Sri Lanka like Uva, Dimbula, Ruhunu, Kandy, etc. are Ceylon black teas pretty much all the same?
Re: Differences between Ceylon teas?
The biggest difference is the strenght and tannins in the tea. Also the flavour variates from 'darker flavours' like plum, berries etc. to lighter flavours like flowers and fruits. Like stronger Assam tea vs. Darjeeling. The tea factories locate in different altitudes (Ruhuna 500m, Nuwara Eliya 1,868m, Halpewatte 1900m for exaple.) So there is a nice difference with each one tea. Also the flavour between different teas from the same factory is different. So I would suggest you try as much as you can!
/edit I've tried a few of them and all were at least slightly different from each other
