Can someone help me identify a tea?
A friend of my went to Korea on business trip and brought me back tea that is in Korean. The only thing in English is "organic green tea jakseol". I can't seem to up load a picture. I like it a lot and wanna buy more but can't see to find it on the web. Can some one tell me what it is or tell me what adagio might have that's close to this tea? Thanks

"Jaksul" translates to "Sparrow's Tongue" and is Korean green tea. There are variations of Korean green tea you might enjoy. I too enjoy Jaksul tea and have come to enjoy Korean green teas over most Japanese greens. You can get Korean teas through Morning Crane Tea and through Hankook tea. Look them up on the web.TeamanRS125 wrote:A friend of my went to Korea on business trip and brought me back tea that is in Korean. The only thing in English is "organic green tea jakseol". Did you try googling jakseol green tea? I googled it and the results I got were for "Jaksul green tea", sparrows tongue, which I assume is the same. Just a somewhat different spelling.TeamanRS125 wrote:Thank you so so much for the info! I was trying like crazy to find a way to buy it online and couldn't seem to find it. Thanks a million!!

Indeed, you are welcome! I really enjoy those teas and, as I said, I've actually been buying as much or more Korean green tea than Japanese greens. I sell some Korean green teas from our tea room because I really appreciate the teas, and the unique perspective that Koreans bring to tea in general, from tea to tea ware!TeamanRS125 wrote:Thank you so so much for the info!
