i tried it a few times and then gave it away to someone.
it was months ago. i just remember that i wasn't really into it.
wasn't terrible
i know this thread is about 'everyday' tea, so maybe it can deliver at that level.
but considering that these days i have time for like 0-2 sessions per day, i haven't been interested in the underwhelming

Re: 'Everyday' drinker list
I bought the last 2011 Yiwu from Cantontea yesterday, a really lovely, affordable Pu I forgot to mention in my last post but sadly it's out of stock now. I just sent them an email asking if there's any left somewhere and while I wait for them to answer I won't miss the chance to kick my own butt for not having ordered more of that tea when it was still available.

Er, do let me know what they say!kuánglóng wrote:I bought the last 2011 Yiwu from Cantontea yesterday, a really lovely, affordable Pu I forgot to mention in my last post but sadly it's out of stock now. I pulled the trigger and bought the raw and ripe version of the tea being discussed in this thread from Health Tea House's ebay (tealife2015). 11 dollars for the two and I figured why not... cannot be THAT bad. The ripe maybe, but 5.50 is worth the gamble. The package was posted on the 16th in China and is already in NYC. That is free shipping that is truly unbeatable.

They replied that they're completely out of stock - bad news indeed, since that YiWu was some pretty good tea for relatively little coin.daidokorocha wrote:Er, do let me know what they say!kuánglóng wrote:I bought the last 2011 Yiwu from Cantontea yesterday, a really lovely, affordable Pu I forgot to mention in my last post but sadly it's out of stock now. Regarding the 'Lucky Dragon' from Health Tea House I've just ordered some more for the cellar. It's on sale right now for $4.40/pc. including free shipping and that's hard to beat IMO. The different batches I've ordered during the last couple months looked and tasted like they've been made from the same material but I wonder how long it takes before they run out of stock.
BTW, I've ordered most of those bings for a friend who's new to Pu and compared to the sheng the ripe version didn't quite cut it IMO.

Er, now someone tells me
Could have bought two shengs. Oh well. I am running out of shu somehow lately. If I like the sheng, I'll certainly be tempted to order some more, but I do not know how I will transport them when I have to leave the country at the end of the year. I already have so much pu-er to transfer. I think I will order a big batch directly to my father's house and ask him to store them! That way I can forget about them for 30 years.

Same story here. I'm still on the road, have my teas stored all over the place and need to transfer them 4000km down south in a month or two from now, yuk. Anyway. I have all the containers, boxes, ... I need to keep them safe but I'm still concerned about the water qualities down there - I'll have to use bottled water and don't like the idea too much.daidokorocha wrote:Er, now someone tells meCould have bought two shengs. The good news is that customs down there are more efficient, relaxed and nicer to deal with - no more stuff getting stuck somewhere.
