Highly appreciative of the new colors. This is a whole lot more pleasant on the eyes!

Very glad to hear! There's still some migration happening, but we're glad to hear that the progress is appreciated.

Another vote in favor of the new color scheme--and the font changes too! These are much cleaner and more readable. :) Thanks!

I think the color scheme is okay overall, but not in the individual threads. Too dull, no life! The best, IMO, is the post a reply color scheme (the one I'm using now to write this). It doesn't put me to sleep. :D

Thanks for weighing in, folks! I'm glad to hear that folks are generally happy with how TeaChat looks. I'm afraid we won't be able to please everyone (seriously--that's a lot of trial and error ;) ) but I'm glad that we could make some difference.

Compared to the light purple these colors are a godsend. The previous scheme really gave me a headache.

I dunno, I think it fits with our theme. Green like brewed tea leaves! :)

Chip et al, you do know the site is down at TeaChat.com, right? It works fine at TeaChannel.com. Go figure?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like TeaChat is back up! Yay! :D

Sure, green as in green tea, why not? but does everything has to be green? i'm talking about the main menu, the active topics menu, etc... green and green with green text on top. Seriously, it looks awful and its the green text is hard to see. Look at the french tea forum: http://www.forumdesamateursdethe.fr/ they go with the green motif, but they don't fill up everything with it. Anyways, i don't really care about the design that much, as long as the site is on and functional. cheers  :D

Hi folks!

Thanks for all of the input. We realize that green is not everyone's cup of tea, but the overall response we've gotten has been much more positive than what we received for purple. We independently tested a few other color schemes as well, and this wound up being the most suitable in terms of content and readability.

Thank you for bearing with us through this process!
