Never eat a kiwi fruit before tea drinking the tart juice will alter your taste buds for an amount of time. made my yancha tasteless

This got me curious...do any of you match your tea to what you're eating, or visa versa?
Also, English tea style I think is usually served with tea biscuits, or scones. Are there any traditional foods served with other cultures and their teas?
Edit: Completed the day with my first cup of adagio's white blueberry tea. It was an excellent tea!
Edit: Sorry, Mary, I noticed you moved a message that wasn't on subject. You can move this one, too. I'll watch those tangents!

Sometimes.
As a basis I tend to have Green tea with seafood and fish, Black tea with stronger tasting meals. It depends anyway on the precise tea because the taste of tea should enhance the meal's flavor, not surpass it. It is a very personal matter so you will have to experiment.
For everyday meal, I often have houjicha.
I also use tea for cooking.

Chip, if you were to drink tea at this hour, what time would you be able to sleep at?

Tonight is experiment night. Full session of sheng, immediately followed by a full session of rou gui. Finished at 12:00AM, what is your guess of pass-out time?
