Hello folks,
I would like to sell this set composed of one gaiwan and five cups; this style, characterized by the predominant red color, is often called red coral.
The gaiwan has a volume of approximately 130 ml, while the cups have a volume of approximately 50 ml. This gaiwan and cups have been made in China (folk kilns) during the late Qing/R.O.C. period, approximately during the period 1880 ~ 1930. I personally use the other set I own (same gaiwan and cups) with delicate teas (e.g. green teas, white teas, high mountain Gaoshan, delicate Gushu material, etc.). The gaiwan is extremely easy to handle, no fingers burned.
Gaiwan and cups are totally hand painted.
Please note the gaiwan has a faint superficial hairline on the rim, but it doesn't leak nor has any other issue!
195 USD shipping included (EMS from Japan).
