Ahoy! Cold weather is over staying its welcome here, but still I'd like to make myself ready for the warmer months to come by starting to explore the world of homemade iced tea. Getting tired of the ready made ones I find at the grocery store... Lemon and peach have had the spotlight for long enough!
Would you kindly share your choices of flavor to brew and cool down?
Also, is moroccan mint any good when chilled?

Sencha with just a touch of honey, you know ... sweet tooth. But the honey also acts as a natural preservative.

I like a nice Taiwanese mountain oolong...the light roast versions are very nice when started in a small quantity of hot water, then diluted with cool water and chilled. Very very nice.

Nice! Why have I never thought of adding fresh mint instead? Adding it to my grocery list.
I heard that honey could do that, do you know how long it preserves with some in it? I'm a slow drinker doubled with amazingly skilled at forgetting perishable beverages in the fridge... : D
Chilled oolong sounds promising. The only oolong I've had before (once again I'm a complete noob in this world) was ruined by a dreadful artificial flavoring of maple and walnut. Sacrilege! It tastes like ruins and ashes.

'fridge brew Dan Cong Phoenix Oolong is wonderful! Imen at Tea Habitat has blogged this topic.
I also highly recommend ice brew gyokuro. Just place a 100ml block of ice top of a pile of gyo and leave in the fridge 1-2 days.

How do you do the Dan Cong cold-brewed: drop dry leaves in cold water and refrigerate, or start with hot then cold, or....?

I enjoy cold brewing teas. I find over a long enough brew this way, you get the fullest flavor without any astringency. I like Oolong's this way, cold brewed white tea is very nice on a warmer day. Im actually going to experiment soon with cold brewing some slightly aged sheng pu soon.

I will choose homemade cold drinks, I like some sweet taste of drink, which made me try to add some different taste into tea. We can see that many shares online, and I learn to make a cup of Matcha Sunrise.
