Great find at the thrift store today. I've seen vintage glazed yi xing, but not this type. Missing the teapot and 1 small plate. I think the lid on the container is actually the teapot lid, which is unfortunate.
Appreciate any info or age or origin.

I always wondered what glazed Yixing actually is. Is it like glazed teaware from Yixing, or teaware made with that kind of clay and then glazed, or how does it work? Since most Yixing is favored for its effects on tea through it's unglazed clay, I assume the glazed Yixing wares are for appearance right?

Glazed yixing from Qing dynasty usually is only glazed on the outside, not on the inside.
