Image.

I found a little background info on your Zoji bread machine.
You may want to give it a "rince".

Mmm, fresh baked bread. That was a good purchase, Mary. I'd be proud to own a Zojirushi bread machine.

I am proud too. It was a great purchase. I'm still working out the kinks though...Mum's commandeered the thing. She's insisting bread flour is completely unnecessary...a myth perpetuated by the bourgeoisie in order to raise the price of flour beyond the reach of the Everyman.

I see her Marxist rationale and obscure Dutch morality plays and raise her a good, hard dose of Harold McGee. It's all in the gluten and extra protein, and she's just not seeing that.

Anyway, all this bickering is making it really hard to properly evaluate the Zoji...but the contraption *is* doing wonders with the all-purpose stuff, so I guess we're not too bad off.

Sigh...sometimes it just doesn't pay to live in a hyper-literate household. We accomplish so very little. :)

[Edit: Dude! When did I turn over 1000 posts?! ...um, 27 posts ago. Duh.]

We all blinked and missed the milestone, Mary. Congrats on lacking a social life and your 1000th post.

Congrats on the 1000 posts!

It is the AP or the bread flour that makes a nice kitteh? ;-)
