Multiple infusions
I am a complete newcomer to green tea and my first purchase was Sencha no.51 from Teamakers of London. Is it correct that I could make a single cup this morning and use the same leaves to make another later on?

That's correct. Many loose leaf teas can last for multiple brews. It would in fact be a waste to discard the tea only after one brew. What I would recommend is:cslogg wrote: I am a complete newcomer to green tea and my first purchase was Sencha no.51 from Teamakers of London. Is it correct that I could make a single cup this morning and use the same leaves to make another later on?
- Make sure the leaves are fully strained, and leave as less water as possible in the mug/teapot

- Cover the mug/teapot with a lid to better preserve the tea

- Do steep the leaves only during the same day, do not keep it overnight for the next day.

- Increase the steeping time for the second (and subsequent) brews gradually. For more info on preparing green tea you may also check this guide: how to steep green tea
