Identifying Build Method of Teapot

I am trying to figure out if this pot was handmade or slipcast. Link to imgur album below.

There are two visible lines on the pot. One on the spout (does not continue onto the body) and one inside the teapot that is perpendicular to the line containing the handle and spout.

There is some shoddy pieces of clay stuck to the inside and the ball filter, so the craftsmanship is obviously not too great. The inside surface isn't flat and has undulations. Where the handle connects to the body the body is recessed. The horizontal valley inside the body corresponds to the decorative horizontal hump on the outside.

I'm also trying to understand the quality of the clay. There are small silver specks in addition to black specks. The clay is moderately rough but does not have any protruding bumps that are obvious to the touch.

I agree. This looks like an artificial patina and low quality clay. I've paid my dues many times in the Yixing world, but I've gained some really nice succulent planters.

Slip-cast is cheapest way to make a teapot. It also looks like a factory produced fake patina rather than a nice pot that’s just dirty. It’s a run of the mill tuition pot imho.

Looks like Yixing zisha, the texture seems like modern made. I like the design of this teapot. I am not sure about paying $750 USD on this pot unless it’s from a famous potter.
